Full Frontal Nerdity

A lot of you on my F-list are fans of glam rock. So this may or may not be of interest to you. Anyway, David Bowie and other glam rock act’s hits get thrown around a lot, so I decided to make a mix of glam rock artists or neo-glam rock artists who don’t get enough attention or songs by the top acts that languish in relative obscurity. So, enjoy.

Katie's, that is to say, brokenbacktango's mix arrived today. It was so unexpected and lovely, since I haven't sent her hers yet (don't hate me) and even though I'm very very very disturbed by the fact that she prefers a WALLFLOWERS cover of DAVID BOWIE, I shall enjoy it anyway.

And then Edward's group for the YPMB scavenger hunt asked me to make them a mix CD, and then Caity was like, "WHAT! You're MY suitemate! You must make me one!"--so basically I'm being fought over by the marching band for music. It's kind of awesome.

Quick shout out to maypirate, I have no idea what's going on, which is why I didn't feel I had the right to comment, but feel better, okay, darling?

Spring break is over. I haven't slept in 48 hours because of the red eye, half my toiletries are missing, my shoe strap broke and battlestar is becoming fucking ridiculous BUT inspite of all this I am happy.

Why, you might ask? Because xtinethepirate's mix CD arrived today and while I am slightly amused that she would think I wouldn't have "Carry on My Wayward Son" because I was a huge classic rock fan pre-Supernatural (not to mention all the Nickelback), I forgive her because she wrote me drabbles for every single song. And they're wonderful. You should post it as a fanmix, Xtiney.

Also Cavorting to Yorkside and doing Japanese homework and just generally being a lark helps.
