So I'm the kind of person who just lurks during comment porn memes, and totally refuses to write anything myself, because I don't have enough confidence to not spend ten hours at the very least on each paragraph. Unless I'm writing things were Sam is a fallen angel called Samael, and then it's probably best if I don't think too much about it, because MY BRAIN WILL BREAK.

But today, the boredom was so crushing that it actually managed to shove aside my self-doubt, and I participated. TWICE.

Now I'm going to get on the train to go see Kung Fu Panda, and hopefully assuage my boredom some more. Also, I'm told you will be getting fic from me soon.

[livejournal.com profile] immoralilly wrote this awesome fic containing Sam, Dean, The Castle Anthrax, and Spanking. It contains some of the most hilarious dialogue yet known to man and a discussion of the historicalness of boobs. Also, Dean's great retort to the Knights who say Ni is "My brother is taller than you." *sporfles*

All of you must read it at once. Go now if you call yourself Monty Python fans or HUMANS.

I had an excellent weekend, which is completely rare because usually weekend spells more time I have to spend with my horrible-egg-sucking-awful-people-eating-room-mates! BUT they were mostly gone, and I got to have a ton of fun with the room to myself.

Like watching three hours of South Park and Monty Python and then running off to Yorkside for milkshakes and then coming back and dancing to the Scissor Sisters.

Like waking up at 4:30 on Saturday only to spend a bunch more time watching Supernatural and Tenimyu with Loide and Shen-san. OHMYGOD, I don't know how I can possibly have any more ships (and even if I'm not the most enthusiastic about the musicals, I will say that Dream Lives was awesome). I really like hanging out with Shen-san. I don't know, she's my twin, so it's stands to reason that she'd have that effect on me.

Like rocking out with Lexi to Pulp and The Who and The Scissor Sisters and just generally being lunatics. Like going to see Run Lola Run with Adam and just sitting their being like, "I forgot how freakin' awesome this movie is."

Like coming back to eljay to read and talk with all of you.

Man, I love you guys. You all really make me forget the bad stuff.

Flo and I were watching one of the episodes of Monty Python's flying circus, the "Full Frontal Nudity" one. I've seen all of the various components of Monty Python sans shirt. I've even seen Graham Chapman in flagrante delicto. Hard to miss if you've seen The Life of Brian. The point is that they're all pretty flabby white Englishmen. Then Eric Idle struts in without his shirt, and WHOA!!! He's built. I mean who woulda thought--Eric Idle, the gym bunny, in 1969? It's hilarious. He always seemed so slight under the ubiquitous suit too.

Hmm, speaking of slight people, I wonder what the state of Jonathan Rhys-Meyers' body is. I know he ran around practically nude in Velvet Goldmine, but it's been awhile. The reason I'm wondering is I made Flo watch Bend it with Beckham. I love that movie, I always get all warm and fluttery about Joe.

To whom it may concern . . .off to guzzle some honest tea.

I got into Yale. Which is kind of funny, because I'm being rejected everywhere else. Including Brown, which is where I really wanted to go. Hopefully . . .HOPEFULLY . . . I'll get into Cal. I don't think I have many more tears to cry.

We finally had an art day on Friday . . .which really was us eating pasta, watching Nip/Tuck, and messing about with tubes of blue paint. I now have one very artsy canvas with nothing on it but watery swathes of turqoise, cobalt, and azure. Yesterday was not so good. In the morning my mom and I went suit shopping, so I finally have one of those. It looks pretty good. Then I arrived home and found all my rejection letters. All my mom could say was, "it isn't the end of the world." I just looked at her and said, "I know that, but I'm going to cry about for little bit, okay." It's been kind of amazing, but Daddy has been a lot better about this than she has. Usually he's the one who's making me feel that I'm less than human. Flo also was a great help. We watched Monty Python and nibbled on bagel bites. Which really is the cure for everthing.

I helped Colleen with her APUSh studying yesterday and we had levain and strawberries for dinner. I hope I actually helped. After I took her home I watched another episode of Nip/tuck. Carolyn leant me Season 1. It's hilarious. Nobody else thinks it's funny at all, but I'm sitting there cracking up about EVERYTHING. I know that it can get pretty serious at times (especially in later seasons) but sometimes it really is ridiculous. That's probably why I like it. Although I'll tell you this, I prefer Sean to Christian. He's just too adorable for words.

To whom it may concern . . .well, Yale certainly would not be so bad to go to.
