Born To Cry-Pulp |

I got into Yale. Which is kind of funny, because I'm being rejected everywhere else. Including Brown, which is where I really wanted to go. Hopefully . . .HOPEFULLY . . . I'll get into Cal. I don't think I have many more tears to cry.
We finally had an art day on Friday . . .which really was us eating pasta, watching Nip/Tuck, and messing about with tubes of blue paint. I now have one very artsy canvas with nothing on it but watery swathes of turqoise, cobalt, and azure. Yesterday was not so good. In the morning my mom and I went suit shopping, so I finally have one of those. It looks pretty good. Then I arrived home and found all my rejection letters. All my mom could say was, "it isn't the end of the world." I just looked at her and said, "I know that, but I'm going to cry about for little bit, okay." It's been kind of amazing, but Daddy has been a lot better about this than she has. Usually he's the one who's making me feel that I'm less than human. Flo also was a great help. We watched Monty Python and nibbled on bagel bites. Which really is the cure for everthing.
I helped Colleen with her APUSh studying yesterday and we had levain and strawberries for dinner. I hope I actually helped. After I took her home I watched another episode of Nip/tuck. Carolyn leant me Season 1. It's hilarious. Nobody else thinks it's funny at all, but I'm sitting there cracking up about EVERYTHING. I know that it can get pretty serious at times (especially in later seasons) but sometimes it really is ridiculous. That's probably why I like it. Although I'll tell you this, I prefer Sean to Christian. He's just too adorable for words.
To whom it may concern . . .well, Yale certainly would not be so bad to go to.
