Ever since last Wednesday I haven't had internet, which if you are me, is practically lethal. But now I have it again and all is well. All I will say is netgear and or other service providers are pieces of shit. Anyway, what has happened since then?

We-ell, I got back from Connecticut in one piece, took the my last SAT on Saturday, saw Rent (perhaps I do not have enough of . . .something . . . for this movie, because truly I sat through it thinking . . .what exactly makes you-the cast-an artist? Just cuz you're poor and do smack?), and celebrated Sinter Klaas last night.

For those of you who aren't dutch, and do not realize that Santa Clause is left over from the Dutch being in New Amsterdam now known as New York, Sinter Klaas is a dutch holiday in which Saint Nikolaas (Nicholas) gives gifts to all the little children. It's completely seperate from Christmas, but hey, it worked for Americans to blend Father Christmas and Santa Clause into one. Sinter Klaas though is not fat, but skinny, and he does not have reigndeer, he rides a white horse, and has a helper called Zwarte Pietje or Black Pete. So now that you have all been informed about that . . .I can talk about other things.

Basically I now own the complete set of Michael Kors perfume, which I adore. If any of you have seen my writing box, which, actually, I think is none of you, you know that I keep a sample of it in there. Also, I am getting an ipod. A nano unfortunately (which means I'm going to break it, I break musically related things . . .trust me) but it's an ipod none the less. Yay.

to whom it may concern . . .my bicycle seems to hate me, it's front tire is always going flat, which means I have to drive to school. Yuck. Also, I wrote a 14-page creative writing essay for Hamlet. Never again.

this is just too funny not to post )

[ music | Bittersweet Symphony-The Verve (I listened to this song CONSTANTLY freshman year) ]

Friday night was fairly normal, except that I saw a really shoddy ballet, and then walked out at the second one. I know that sounds really stuck up, but the San Jose Ballet Company sucks. It's like they spent most of their money on props, costuming, and sets. So much so that it overpowered everything else. However, despite the crappiness of the dancing the music really was beautiful. Phillip Glass is an amazing composer. Then Friday was the SAT-IIs. I'm sure I did fine on the History, I'm not so sure how I did on the math (pretty bad though), then Florence and I went shopping. I got another bra, because I broke one awhile ago and hadn't the chance to get a new one. But you all needed to know that. I also got this totally awesome black velvet jacket. And for once, I actually had money left over. Hmm, what should I spend it on?

Late last night I went over to Colleen's house and we just talked. About normal stuff. Which reminds me I should send out a e-mail to my young democrats club. But I really can't summon up the energy to do it. Today was bad, I woke up feeling horribly sick (and I was), I took some Sudafed, which is the equivalent of god. Unfortunately, I still sound like I'm dying. So now here we are. I don't really know what to say. Other than that my nose hurts.

today you get two pictures for the price of one )

to whom it may concern . . .I took the memory quiz that's been going around for 14 people and got 100%, see I know you guys. Eh, it's always been said I've got a freakish memory. Just talk to AJ or Eric.
