According to Horace, "Sperate Miseri, Cavete Felices" and Other ruminations on Supernatural

I'm going to tell you a story...I got into Supernatural in August. Yes, that's right, August of 2006. I always seem to arrive late to the party (if there's still a party going on by the time I get there). It's a long and convoluted story involving many mishaps and coincidences and excellent fiction that basically resulted with me saying, "Holy Smokes, Batman, these two boys are hot and so fucking queer I can't see straight, I must check out this TV show at once." <---and really, I never intended a pun with that statement.

( I fell down the rabbit hole, but I never want to go back (or in less poetic terms, Lauren has read too many articles about film theory in the last few days, and now feels the need to justify Supernatural in equally pompous terms). )

Because when you fail a japanese test, this is always the best response

I noticed that there weren't a lot of fanmixes that dealt with the boys' childhood, so I said, "ahah, time to be original, Lauren!" (although it might be that I'm desperately procrastinating from work) and I got up off my ass and created one. This mix of tracks is all about their thoughts of the future, about dreams and fears and each other, until reality finally sets in with it's crushing truth: Sam will not stay, Dean will not go with him.
