Don't make me tell you about the adventure I had trying to scan this

What seems like months ago and in reality was probably only weeks, notthequiettype and I were talking about how awesome it would be if Jared and Jensen could walk down the red carpet together together. And how of course they can't, because it's Hollywood. Well, yesterday, because it was Halloween and I didn't want to work, I sat down to draw something from the requests I got from you guys. And just...nothing was coming to me. So I thought about that conversation and lo and behold: full color drawing.





So I'm craptacular at color pencils and I always regret using them, but I suppose it could be worse. I just figured I'd try something, but for some reason I had it in my head that they were going to operate like...oh I don't know acrylic paint. Which is what I am, a painter, more than anything else. Someday I'll find a way to upload my paintings on the internet, and then you'll be like, AHAH, this person actually can call herself an artist.

Jensen's legs were IMPOSSIBLE. Let me say that again, IMPOSSIBLE. Jared's entire body was a freakin' grand slam. Shoulders, legs, feet, EVERYTHING, and then Jensen came along and just had to be the bitchtacular drama queen of the piece.

If I could be angry at a two-dimensional representation of somebody I don't know, I PROBABLY WOULD.

actually...the blue in the sweater was from a watercolor pencil then I used a wet-tip thing to make the color brighter. it's not like..paint or anything o_O

Well the way I do it is to very lightly (like the way you have done with the denim) do layers of color with cross-hatching. Unfortunately I've never been good with skin tone. But I'm glad you liked it anyway.

This is so so so awesome! SIGH. Why is that not happening in real life right now? I love the long, lean line of Jared's body and the way he's holding Jensen under the jacket! And I love Jensen's hair and the way his tee is falling against his belly. GAH. So awesome! <33
