My favorite thing in the world is watching my cat try to figure out what to do with the piles of sorted laundry. Does he pounce on it? Or roll in it? Or glare at it disdainfully from his position atop the couch. It's complicated!

I have Never Back Down porn on the way sans crazy threesomes (I don't like Life As You Know It enough to justify writing fic about it). You know it's bad if you have only the smallest desire to see the movie again, but still want to write epic porn on every surface of the gym about it.

Now I'm at a loss for what to cook for dinner. I'm leaning towards chicken quesadillas, since, as [livejournal.com profile] katomyte and [livejournal.com profile] azephirin can attest, I make awesome ones. But what else should I eat, this is my last night to binge before dining hall food, so it better be good!

I hate Roberts. That's the grocery store I'm currently stuck going to. I'm always struck by the urge to dye my hair purple, put on my loudest clothing and most glittery make up, and walk in there and be completely ridiculous. I feel like they'd die over the gourmet cheese counter. Man I miss Piazza's. Everybody was so nice there. And they sold Honest Tea. And chocolate milk. If every grocery store in CT has Honest Tea, I do not see why we are finding it so hard here.

Fix it, Roberts. Or I will walk in with a boom box ala Do The Right Thing and start a shouting match so colossal you call the police. Maybe we could skip torching the place though.

I'm waxing lyrical about my story again, please excuse my own narcissism and arrogance. )

So how was your day, kiddies?

ETA: everybody is talking about their separation from lj, I would like to mention that I am particularly miffed, because I was attempting to write genderswap, and I wanted to read over a few fics to see what they did with the pronouns. Research, you know? *cough*

We actually did it, I'm kinda amazed. [livejournal.com profile] maypirate and I actually got together, and it was wonderful. There was no shoving under trolleys. Possibly because we weren't near any. But nobody got shoved off the cliffs when we were at San Gregorio, either, so maybe there was just no desire for shoving period.

We ate a lot of good food and drank a lot of iced tea (okay, is this in anyway not the usual for me?), we gossipped and squeed and laughed at the clothing in H + M and drove like freakin' everywhere. I'm just sad it ended. I hoped you liked my ADD, May. I couldn't help it.

Also, apparently I'm intimidating. People on my f-list (not counting people who have known me since the 8th grade because, according to them, I'm most easily described as mildly retarded), am I intimidating? I don't feel intimidating. I feel pretty much like a dumbass.

Ah, the very big plans Meredith and I had for Friday. It didn't exactly come out as we had thought but over two days we managed to consume garlic ciabatta, pepperoni pizza, chocolate milkshakes, chocolate liqueur, mozarella sticks, and...I do believe that may be it. Also, we saw 23 as planned, but we expected to be scared out of our wits, and that failed miserably. It also took us a few tries to actually make it to the theater.

BUT...

It was still wonderfully fun. Especially when we were rocking out to the backstreet boys in the car and scaring little backwater New England folks into believing we were big bad lesbians come to attack them.

Altogether successful.

Uh yeah. Jessica, Amanda, and I went out and got Greek food to celebrate 4/20. It was more as a counter-culture move than anything else as I'm not interested in pot. We sat in the Z Gallery and played free associatian while the sales clerk with the bizarre hair cut stared at us. There was one sofa that was painful to get out of, it was that comfortable.

I'm really craving a glass of iced tea, so I think I will treat myself. Mmmhm.

to whom it may concern . . .Snow Patrol redid Beyonce's "Crazy in Love". It's brilliant.

The nice thing about being deprived of your laptop for an entire weekend is that you find all these nice surprises on your f-list. Sorry about commenting a little after the fact on some of your entries. Anyway, I was in Carmel for the start of spring break. Usually I'm in Connecticut during this time. I basically spent it divided between a novel and working on painting. Of course I did your usual beach pleasantries and all the rest. It was, after all, Carmel. Mostly I painted though. Now I have to get back to all my homework too. Yuck.

My sleep schedule was all off on Sunday. I woke up at about 4 AM and took a walk down to the beach. It was still slightly dark out. I was the only one there. The sand was so cold it felt like walking on freezing metal. I had to sit down just to save my poor feet. It was probably one of the most out of it experiences I've ever had. I swear the entire time I was talking to myself. I might still have been feeling the effects of the aptly named B-52 coffee I had the night before . . .well only hours before actually. I'm trying to think of all the liquers that went in that thing. Gran Marnier, Kahluah, Bailey's, Schnapps, and one other I can't remember. It was pretty strong, but it was good. I had tempura goat cheese with it too, which sounds very strange, but is really delicious.

I'm home early now, I have the house to myself until Friday. I'll probably attempt to get all sorts of work done and then fail miserably.

to whom it may concern . . .pizza and garlic bread tonight, YAY!
