sweetprinceI suddenly remembered why I can't stand to read cheating fic. When you're watching your friend tear her hair out and cry and cry and cry, and beg you for the reason it happened to her, and know that she's not going to be okay for a very long time, reading it seems almost like a sin.
Because somewhere, some asshole guy, has completely managed to destroy a girl's self-worth. And there is NOTHING you can do when a person is so invested in someone else.
And then I think of the number of times people have asked for this scenario on spnstoryfinders "Jared, Jensen, cheating, I don't care which!" and it just...how does that not tear you apart?
