On The Day A Saint was Martyred (or that damn holiday you must have a date for)

To recap my v-day, unfortunately I can't make a hate list as inspiring as [livejournal.com profile] albydarned did, but I can tell you that we had our first lasting snows of the year yesterday, that I wrote an excellent five page paper to make up for the absolutely shoddy one I did, my twin, [livejournal.com profile] mytigerhobbes and I got locked into the Japanese testing room (well so did everyone else, but we were done with the test), I got valentines chocolate from my dad which I did not partake in (I don't dislike chocolate, but I'm not a big fan), actually got to cook in an honest to god Kitchen, and had a dance party to "Boom Boom" by the Venga Boys.

All in all, it was a successful day.

On a completely different note, have any of you seen the movie Frailty directed by Bill Paxton? The similarities to Supernatural are astounding. Only the ending is rather sad, considering the older brother is such a sweetheart. Anyway Dad gets a calling, has two sons he raises on his own, they go around killing demons, the younger son has a destiny...bladdy bladdy blah.

Go watch it, it's good, if a complete mindfuck. I mean SERIOUSLY.

It's a good movie, but believe me, FREAKY! Also, Matthew McConaughey is in it so of course it's excellent. Why did you need an ultrasound? And you're allowed to mope as much as you like considering that my last post was the utter depths of mopiness.

Mindfucks are the best!

*kisses back*

uh, basically the short version of the need for an ultrasound was that over the last three years I had surgery five times and have been nauseous ever since (as in non-stop two years) and so they've sort of been doing a half assed job of trying to figure out whats wrong and then two weeks ago it got really bad (as in I've been in the state of "never been so nauseous in my life" for two weeks now) and now they're really trying to figure out what's up. So that's what all the ranting in my journal is about if that pops up on your friends page. lol. so yeah. so much for short version. I guess that would've been me=lotsa vomity nausea...or sompin'

Also: Mmmm. Matthew McConaughey. And I love freaky mindfuck movies, trust me.

I'm so sorry, darling. That's awful. Hopefully Frailty will make you feel better if the damn doctors can't. (let me tell you about my tribulations with the doctors sometime)

it's not that big a deal. it could always be worse. it just gets me down sometimes when all I wanna do is go eat ribs or something and I can't even stomach water. this is one of those times. haha. I'm sure Frailty will make me feel better, because things like that are basically my cure all (that and slash...and hot mansteaks....*shifty eyes*). I'll definately be renting it sometimes soon. maybe next weekend along with sleepy hollow and brokeback mountain...depending on my pool of funds. *excited* See? I'm cheered up already just thinking about it. And now I'm going to bed. Because I'm going to hate myself in the morning for staying up this late....

I'm glad to hear that. It's Hayden Christensen, who's you know, a sex god.

[identity profile] riot-fox311.livejournal.com 2007-02-16 05:58 pm (UTC)(link)
oh my god, that's Hayden? He's so pretty! (Well, he's always pretty, as established by the sex god comment, which I agree with, but...preeeeeetty....)
