Well that was horrible HORRIBLE timing!

This girl that I was really good friends with Sophomore year and who I still see occasionally, although not very often because she went off to middle college for Junior and Senior year, ran into me last night while I was replenishing my stores of honest tea. I had to leave in a rush because my arthritic mother needed me to carry off the countless goodies that she bought for New Years, but she called me later in the evening and we decided to hang out.

So we're watching some crappy film with Courtney Love as one of the main characters, drinking smirnoff with coke, and it just generally came out that she likes girls. I was like, well fuck! I finally told her that Sophomore year I had this huge thing for her, blah blah blah. And then she was like "oh, I had one for you junior year, when we were in that SAT class together." I find this out now, of course, when I go to school in Connecticut and she's at UCSC. Looking back down the line I feel sort of lost, because I think we could've made something work, but now the time for that kind of thing is completely gone. Not to mention my room-mates (specifically one of them) would probably find it ridiculous if I had a long-distance relationship with a girl. Ugh.

to whom it may concern...The Bastard Fairies are probably the best thing since Christian Bale decided he wanted to be famous and plaster himself all over giant billboards.

I was pretty sure I added the sentence, "which is not a good reason to stay out of a relationship" but I guess not. Oh well. In any event, it is a stupid reason, but god knows she'd gimme hell for it.

I'm sorry that happened, darling; it always is the worst to wonder what could have been. Believe me when I say that I know exactly what it's like. But hey, at least now you both know, right? So if time and circumstances bring you back together, then there won't be the same wondering.

I hope that works out for you. Keep in touch, and you never know what can happen. My sister met this guy once for a day at a Renaissance Festival in Ontario.... 3 years later, she came back from Belgium, met him again at uni in NS out of the blue, and now they're married. So it can happen. ^__^

Lol, well I've been a few places, tis true, but it's my sister who usually ends up with the amazing coincidences like that, lol. Another boyfriend of hers she met in Heathrow airport once when we were flying to Belgium to find a house. He was travelling home to Canada. They ended up in the same class the next year. It really is a small world when you think about it, lol.

I am excited for the next semester, although I think that Jan.3 is too soon to start. I might sekkritly take the rest of this week off, lol. SHHHH. ^___^.

Yeah, I started my senior year of high school on the third, which especially sucks cuz it's my birthday. But not this year! Oh no. Anyway, go ahead take the rest of the week off, I'm sure you won't be the only one.
