LONDON!!! Whew. Now that I've got that out of my system. Guys and Gals here I am, and am I in love? Yes, a love strong enough to match my love for iced tea and sunshine and Wes Anderson films (er and Slash . . .). Last night my mother and I went out for Indian food and just walked around. I bought two books: a collection of Tim Burton interviews and one of the only Neil Gaiman novels I haven't read--Stardust. Figured I'd better hop to it, seeing as they're making a movie.

So many cute shops here mixed in with cheap souvenir stands and cheesy street performers. We went down to Westminster today and I felt terribly bad for the people who actually had to work there. It was so damn clogged with tourists (half of them Japanese), we decided to go back for Westminster Abbey tomorrow.

Finally proved to my mother that the London Eye actually exists and it's not some invention of mine.

Glad to hear that you're having such a good time! I haven't seen Avenue Q (I didn't think it was something I could take my dad to... haha) but all I've heard about it are GREAT reviews, so it should be awesome. And YAY for Neil Gaiman books being filmified, so long as they dont screw up his story too much.

God, I know. He's like the one character I really wish was in ALG, because he would make an awesome vampire. Or just an awesome incredibly sexy person lounging around.

I have the Avenue Q soundtrack so I'm pretty excited about it. My mom actually doesn't mind going to see it, but I'm pretty sure she will once she hear's "My Girlfriend Who Lives in Canada" and "You can be as loud as the hell you want (when you're making love)"

Neil Gaiman has had a pretty big hand in the process, as far as I understand (I get his RSS feed, he's soooooooo damn prolific, there are days I really wish he weren't.), he definitely approved the casting of Stardust, I can't remember who it is but somebody really awesome is going to play Tristan Thorne.

er, what? It's a broadway musical that opened almost two years ago in New York, and opened just two days ago in London, other than that I dunno.
