Excellent news. Last.fm has decided to award me a free subscription for a month simply because my charts are taking a little longer to update than they should.I'm not sure what exactly to do with my knew subscription powers. I now have a little blue icon next to my name though instead of a grey one. That's an improvement, at least.

Also, The Prophecy is one fuckin' weird movie. For somebody who grew up in a Catholic household part of the time, I do think they should go back and look at their scriptures a bit better. I don't think the writer had a clue about what he was talking about. But hey, Viggo Mortenson played Lucifer. And hell, he made a sexy Lucifer. Now I see where Peter Jackson got the idea for Aragorn's hair.

OMG. We have the same bookshelf. Right down to the manga being on the top shelves, and books piled on other books. That is too funny!! I'll have to take and post a pic to show you.....

damn. Camera died after I took it, so I can't load it onto the computer. Ah well. I'll see if I remember to come back and show you. Hahahaha. Not that it's that important, but you know...

And I watched The Prophecy just to see Viggo as the devil. Mrow. He made that entire movie worthwhile to me. (I'm not a huuuuge Christopher Walken fan though, so that could be why I was less than 100% enthusiastic over it...)

He was amusing in it a few times, only the hair was so bad. SOOOO bad. I wouldn't have cast him as Gabriel. In fact I might have switch Viggo and Christopher. I think Viggo could pull off that awful hair better anyway.

Also, an angel named Simon? What? Simon? What crack were they smoking? Haven't they noticed that angels' names always end in iel or ael. Michael, Gabriel, Azriel, Uziel, Tsaphiel, Camael . . . of course there is the exception of Lucifer but then the iels and aels are hebrew and Lucifer is latin so that's not so bad.

At the moment, the series that I'm actively collecting are: Bleah, Fruits Basket, Gravitation, Tsubasa, and XXXholic. But I have a whoooole bunch of them, haha. I'm a CLAMP lover especially, because I think their art is just so beautiful.

Yeah, I was lost on the Simon part. Now, I don't know much about scripture or anything like that, but I was pretty sure I had never heard of him before. Haha. And Gabriel acting all freaky was a little unusual. Of course, the same thing happened in Constantine, didn't it??? Was that Gabriel? I don't really rememeber.

But yeah, I pretty well stuck around for Viggo at the end, just like I stayed watching the New World (snore-inducing movie) to see Christian Bale. Yummers.

Dude, I really disliked the New World too. It tried so hard to be existential and just failed miserably. But uh, Christian and Colin were nice to look at.

I couldn't believe I had to wait an hour and a half for Christian Bale to show up. That's the only reason that I sat there. And Colin is verrrrry nice to look at.... but he fell out of my head the moment those beautiful Bale baby blues came on screen. YOWZA.

I know, it made me sniffle. Haha. But I have to say, he looked positively yummy and angsty in that split-second shot where he's crying over his wifey kicking the bucket. Gyahhh... *huggles him better*.

But a shirtless scene would not have gone amiss. I need to watch more of his films now.... Hahah. So PRETTY!

I saw the Machinist for that man! That's devotion! He weighed about 120 lbs. It was scary.

OMG. *wrinkles nose* he must have been completely emaciated. That is devotion. It's kind of scary some of the things that actors are expected to do for their roles. Like George Clooney gaining like 45 lbs for Syriana... that's just not healthy.
