I'm just so damn tired.

I finally saw the first three episodes of Firefly this weekend. I have yet to see the slashiness between the male characters, but that may be because Mal keeps punching Simon who retalliates with viscious rhetoric. Does it get better? I don't know, I'm excited for the coming episodes.

My dad is keeping my car for me when I go off to college. Thank god. My mom thinks it's a consolation present for some of the things he said the last time he was here. It may be. I don't care, as long as I have a car.

to whom it may concern . . .I'm going to try and go back to bed.

I didn't ever really see the slashiness until I thought about it, because I'm a big Mal/Inara supporter.
I'm so glad you get to watch Firefly! It ONLY gets better. I think my favourite episode is the last one. Don't remember what it's called. But I pretty much like 'em all.

The only reason why I asked is because everybody tells me it's there. But you say you saw it when you looked so hmmm, I guess it must be.

I never saw any slashiness. But I loved the show. The only show that I ever watched that seemed slashy to me (apart from my S&C DVD :P ), was The Sentinel.

Perhaps then, you are not beyond saving, I can slash pretty much everything. Nip/Tuck is so slashy it's painful to watch them NOT get together.

I thought so. The most slashy moment I could come up with was when Simon jabbed Mal with a needle a little harder than he should've and that's not slashy, it's just amusing.

FIREFLY!!! ^__^. I have to say that my personal favourite episodes were on dics three, with "Out of Gas" being the best. I think that you have to look a little harder for the slash than in many other fandoms, but I really saw the Mal/Simon at some points. I rmember one part that just screamed it out to me, when Mal makes some comment about Simon being a part of his crew now.

Simon: ".... But... you don't even like me...."
Mal: "You're part of my crew. Why are we still talking about this??"

I dont know... it just made me squee at the time. hahaha. But Mal is so loveably gruff. Like Han Solo er somethin.

Simon is hilariously snarky too. He amused me so much when he doped Jayne up. Actually Jayne was just amusing when he was doped up.

Mal: "Nice Shot"
Jayne: "I was aiming for his head."

The entire cast is amusing on that show, including Inara. I wouldn't be surprised if there was some slashiness, usually when there's tension, sexual tension is included (or ahem that's at least how I justify half of my fandoms), and I certainly wouldn't mind Mal/Simon slash, they're uh pretty easy on the eyes.
