Some good things

1. At 11:45 PST, Saturday, I will be back in California for the first time in almost nine months.

2. All signs point to Ponyo being mad, but wonderfully wonderfully awesome. We should go.

3. I have crazy fantasy novels that feature time traveling via a tree. I don't even know.

4. I have plenty of time to sit down and come up with mad AUs for every fandom on the planet and also to consider more prompt fests.

5. It looks like there will finally be a new ipod in my future. It probably won't be a classic or even a touch, because my parents don't trust me enough not to break that shit, but a shuffle is handier for running (which is usually when I'm dumping my ipod out all over the ground).

6. CALC IS DONE. For better or for worse.

Travel safe, enjoy the rest of summer, and I heartily recommend the iPod version two shuffle (the clip-one). I had it until my little sister stole it (and LOST it) and it really is the best workout device ever.

Time-travel via tree makes perfect sense to me.
