Wish 'Verse, picking up where 2x20 left off. By their mother's urging, Sam and Dean unwillingly spend a summer repairing an old farmhouse left to their family by a distant friend of their father's. Under the pressure of close quarters, Sam and Jessica's quickly-approaching wedding, and Dean's recovery from his apparent suicide attempt in an Illinois warehouse, they are forced to confront the many cracks in their relationship. There are a number of people who made this possible. Firstly, memphis86 who "tricked" me into signing up and allowed me to maraud her at her work place for her scanner and bought me jamba juice for the favor. It doesn't seem quite fair, and I know how lucky I am. Also, to ignited who trekked all over the city with me to get this scanned in time for the deadline and laughed at my source photos with me. I'm almost tempted to post them to see if all of your eyes really will start bleeding. To Meredith, for audiencing all of my work, including the soundtrack. Let me not leave out rosekay, who wouldn't let me be too hard on myself.

I really owe you. If I wasn't so broke right now I'd probably take you all out for dinner.

And of course, to elohvee, who is everything that a person could ask for in a big bang author. She made this stressful experience really enjoyable and I'm really glad I got to know her. Even though she taunted me with mere tidbits of her story for months, I'm very excited to read the final product. PS, she claims that she wears pigtails and likes sparkles in person, but this is complete fudgery. I know it! Dean is crying because of this lie. Again.

Thanks, it was actually a total accident, I didn't even want to paste them in, but I hit the wrong keystroke and then WABAM, and I was like, oh, well, that looks pretty sick. Hahahah, the tie-straightening one. Man, I'm sort of embarrassed by that one, but I'm glad you like it so much.

And now I can't stop staring at the graphic cause it's just that pretty and subtle. All of the sketches are beautiful, but I think my favorites have to be the one of 'mostly' naked Dean and Sam in the second drawing.

In the first one you really captured the shadows and Dean's bone structure. And god that boney left shoulder all the way down to the cut of his stomach, right above the hip is just nice to look at. And the expression on his face... :D

As for Sam, I also love the expression on his face. From the way you drew Sam lying on the bed, you didn't make his all sharp angles and lines, but instead made him look soft and this really shows in the hips. What I mean is, everything flows.

*extra little bonus for the curve of Dean's ass,*

And now, instead of making me think of season 2, you've made me think of season 1.

I really enjoyed drawing 'mostly' naked Dean and Sam too. Let me just say, I managed to find some awesome poses to draw from, because that I gave Dean exists in real life. Also, kind of on purpose, because both elohvee and myself really liked season one hair for the both of them.

I don't hate New York. I hated it for like the first month and a half that I lived here last summer, but that was mostly because I hated my roommates and I blamed New York on it.

Yeah, I thought I was half-assing it a bit when I didn't use a 720 DPI, but I figured, oh well.

THEY LOOK SO GORGEOUS. ♥_♥ You did a FANTASTIC job with these! lolz, I think I was so surprised because I'd look at the sources and go, "huh?" and then know you'd come up with something amazing based on them anyway AND YOU DID. I love their facial expressions, I love the shadowing and detail and every little curve and bend. THEY MAKE ME HAPPY. IDEK I think my favorite part is Sam's face in the second one (and his hand! HI, I THINK THE HAND LOOKS AWESOME NOW!)

Love the straightening the tie one too. ooh! That one is so cute! And I really love the background and Sammishness of the cover art/manip thingy. It looks so amazing!

Dude, these are freaking AMAAAAAAAAZING, HOMG. I don't care where your source photos come from (says the girl who hasn't seen them, hahah), they're absolutely brilliant. I keep scrolling up and down to see them all. I think my favourite is the first one of Dean, because I can't stop staring at the shading on his face/neck, and the hand that's holding his arm. DUUUUUDE. The rough shading lines on the boys' suits also give a really cool texture to that picture.

I COULD KEEP FLAILING AT YOU, BUT I THINK SUMMING UP WOULD WASTE YOUR TIME LESS: IT'S JUST PERFECT, OK?

Gorgeous, gorgeous art! In the first one, the way Dean is standing says so much, with the way he's protecting himself with his arm in front and his face cast sideway.

The look in Sam's eyes in the second one just screams "love" and "need", it's so fitting!

So too many people have flailed ahead of me on this to be fair, but I figured it was best to wait and give you a coherent response rather than jumble together some typo-ridden flail at 5 AM.

Baby, I don't even know where to START with how fabulous these are. I know I already squeed at you in IM, but you deserve so much MORE than that. They're all amazing, and even though they're technically sketches, the little details are so well placed and so gorgeous and perfect, Dean's shirt barely visible in the corner on number 1 (and god, don't even let me get started on the shading on that first one--so awesome), Sam's hand on number 2... And I still can't get over the look on Sam's face in the second one. His expression is perfect, exactly what I kept seeing in my head and trying to come up with not-too-repetitive ways to describe for pretty much the entire second half of the fic.

And then, of course, most importantly, there's their HAIR. :D

Seriously, you're awesome. And you made this whole experience much less stressful on my end, too. Thank you thank you thank you. ♥

I love the hand drawings, they very effectively capture the emotion of the moments for me. I don't need every image to be an accurate reproduction of a photo or person's image, I vote for emotional content every time. I especially like the one of Dean, shirtless, almost holding himself in, not looking at Sam, trying to keep it all together.
