So, this was Christmas and in only a few days I’ll be 18.

4…3…2…1
Earth below us, drifting, falling
Floating weightless
Calling calling home...

I suppose you guys have heard me say this a lot before, but I really want to be home. Right now, I just seem to drift about this house, solitary, wondering why my stepmom feels like she has to treat me like an outsider.

I defended her the other day to my asshole of a grandfather, and he said, “Yes, blame your dad, blame your dad for everything, the same way your mother did.” I have no idea where that came from.

I just know, this family is so fucked up. We seem intent on hurting each other as much as we can with harsh words and silence.
