I am staring at this entry box hoping to become interesting, suddenly. I clearly fail. So I have a task for you.

1. Rec me one thing that is awesome--a book, a movie, a show, a nail polish, a new song. I'll start us off.

Osaka Popstar & the American Legends of Punk - Sailor Moon

Oh yes, a punk version of the Sailor Moon song. How sweet is that? It is possibly the validation of my existence. (Oh my god, you get two for the price of one, The Murder Mystery Song by Scouting for Girls because it mentions Dief from due South).

2. Time for more of those personal Questiony things. If you wanted someone to judge you positively for your music taste, what artist would you say was your favorite? What artist do you hope nobody ever looks at the play count in your iTunes to see how much you like it? What are your thoughts on sequins? What female movie star would you like to spend a shopping day with? What's your favorite ride at Amusement parks? What fandom trope will get you to read the fic regardless of who wrote it? Do you have an item of clothing that you would wear everyday if you could get away with it, what is it? What's your alcohol of choice?

1. Bastille My Heart nail polish by OPI. When I had my first manicure right before Wincon I was torn between this colour, a rich burgundy, and Yes I can can! and though I did go with the latter I can't wait to go back and get Bastille. I think about it more than is probably healthy. :)

2. I couldn't even begin to settle on one artists or one band. Uh, I would probably have to go into hiding if anyone saw how often I listen to Britney Spears. Sequins... when done right I love them, but sometimes I see something that is too much and all I can think about are those sweaters with dogs and kittens on them. I would love to spend a day shopping in the little nooks-and-crannies shops in Halifax with Ellen Page. Waterslides, for sure. I will always, always read hustler!Sam fic. I have a black scoop neck sweater with sleeves that come almost to my elbows and it goes with everything and I always feel so chic and comfortable in it and I would totally wear it every day if I could. Ooh. I love sweet, girlie cocktails, especially the ones that come with accessories.

I am very busy at work today. Can you tell?

1. There was this shirt that I almost bought in the 8th grade that I still think about. I feel for you.

2. The same goes for me and Rihanna's "Disturbia" *headdesk* When we had that crazy "sequins on everything" period in fashion about...three years ago, I also went totally nuts. I'm fond of sparkly things.

I'll do you one better, I'm sitting in my seminar.

My favorite book ever is Walker Percy's THE SECOND COMING. I will always recommend that.

I don't think anyone would ever judge me positively by my music taste. I tend to like a smattering of all kinds of things that are maybe a bit odd. For example, I have many, many recordings by Todd Rundgren. I don't have iTunes, so it's not an issue what anyone sees. (grin) I'm not much on sequins, but I tend to wear dark colors and not go too sparkly anyway. I can't think of any particular trope that will make me automatically read a story regardless of who wrote it. Huh. Don't know why that is. And I would wear my Wolverine t-shirt every day, every where if I could. It's getting old and thin and starting to have tiny holes, so soon I won't even be able to wear it out doors. (sigh) And my alcohol of choice is definitely vodka.

1. Eee, SAILOR MOON. ...I still remember that Sailor Dean drawing you did. IT'S IN A HAPPY PLACE IN MY HEART. ♥

The Beatles - Because (Love version) (http://www.sendspace.com/file/vrpjcf). I've been listening to the Love album for the past few days because of the documentary DVD being released. Funnily enough, I get picky with Beatles covers, but I LOVE listening to mash-ups/remixes, and that album's full of them. That sound isn't really remix-y, but it sounds cool.

2. If you wanted someone to judge you positively for your music taste, what artist would you say was your favorite?
- The Beatles.

What artist do you hope nobody ever looks at the play count in your iTunes to see how much you like it?
- Um, probably ABBA or Bee Gees. I... have a love for certain disco music? Eh, I grew up listening to the music my parents listened to, so there you go.

What are your thoughts on sequins?
- I only have one item of clothing that has sequins and it's a long skirt. Hmm. I don't mind sparkles on clothing per se, just... not sequins?

What female movie star would you like to spend a shopping day with?
- This is where I look stupid because I honestly can't think of any. Maybe Cate Blanchett 'cause I love her?

What's your favorite ride at Amusement parks?
- The spinny swing thingy.

What fandom trope will get you to read the fic regardless of who wrote it?
- Genderswap. I would've said bodyswap but genderswap is more frequent and... I will seriously read it in ANY POSSIBLE FORM.

Do you have an item of clothing that you would wear everyday if you could get away with it, what is it?
- My Beatle-y boots. They make me taller and they're comfy.

What's your alcohol of choice?
- Kahlúa! :D

1. "In the Woods," by Tana French because someone else needs to read it so I can talk about it with them. Also "Jamestown," that I mentioned before.

2. If you wanted someone to judge you positively for your music taste, what artist would you say was your favorite?

I don't really care, but I would say Bic Runga if I wanted to be like...I dunno, fancy.

What artist do you hope nobody ever looks at the play count in your iTunes to see how much you like it?

Not that I use itunes, but I do sometimes get a little self-conscious about my small Britney Spears selection.

What are your thoughts on sequins?

ALWAYS. NEED MORE SHINY.

What female movie star would you like to spend a shopping day with?

Lisa Edelstein, om nom nom.

What's your favorite ride at Amusement parks?

ROLLERCOASTERS WOOO ZOOM ZOOM ZOOM.

What fandom trope will get you to read the fic regardless of who wrote it?

No specific tropes. Only Aidan.

Do you have an item of clothing that you would wear everyday if you could get away with it, what is it?

This D&G rhinestone choker I stole from one of my friends in college years ago. But I don't know where it is.

What's your alcohol of choice?

Kahlua. Lillet, red with an orange slice. Sake. But never all at once and only very rarely for each.

Don't hate me, but I find that book insufferable. Although that could just be because I don't care a whit for philosophy.
