So I finally got up off my ass and converted to S2, and got a new layout. It was more out of frustration at the fact that my tags were always disappearing. Man I'd had that layout forever. I kind of wish I hadn't gone all kamikaze on it. Or that at least I'd taken a screen shot first, because that layout was pretty. And I had pictures in the sidebar, which this fucker doesn't do. Or, rather, I should say, I do not understand CSS well enough to add them.

Anyway, [livejournal.com profile] dark_reaction, [livejournal.com profile] dark_reaction, [livejournal.com profile] dark_reaction.

I still have to fiddle around with a few things. I'm not sure about the color scheme. It might just have to go straight gray, because I think this tealey business is kind of obnoxious. Ugh, but now I have to go change my profile table too, because I don't have a drew barrymore theme anymore. That's what I get for just haring off like that.

ETA: Nope, can't do it, I don't like this one at all. Until I figure out a sidebar that works, this is going on the shelf.

I guess the only thing I want to know is if it's possible to put images in the sidebar. In S1, I just made a table, and bam lookey, images, BUT NOW. I made graphics that matched my header and everything, so I would like to use them. *bitter tears*

It is possible. Depends what the codes inside are, but you stick them where the sidebar code is. And sometimes, you have to stick them in more than one " (like in my base coding, you have to stick all html between triple "s)

Sticking them in the codes for the sidebar breaks the entire layout. I'm not kidding you. But triple "s you say?

Yeah. Stick in the normal image html but instead of just "code" it has to be """code""" and it'll come up as the picture rather than the actual code itself. At least, it does with mine.

Ah you see, mine does not make the code appear, depending on where I stick it, it does not appear, or it turns the entire thing into a cray mess that is impossible to navigate.

Is yours a new layer entirely or do you use the custom CSS box? Can I maybe see the code?

Hm. It's a completely different type of code to what I work with. >.> I'm afraid I have absolutely no idea how most of that one works.

Yeah, I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who looks at it and is like WH-AT?

Anyway, thanks for your help, lovely.
