AHAH, you clicked it. Okay, well I need a favor so that I can officially finish my Sophomore year of college. In my sociolinguistics class we're ending the year with studies, and we're trying to figure out if there's a difference in speech in how women talk about sex and masturbation. Most of these questions, unfortunately, are not ideal for regression, but we're still curious.

I kid you not, the most recent entry that was in my in box not five minutes ago was this from a guy who was probably just reading the entries in the comm that are probably 50/50 men/women.

I never realized so many women masturbate!

There are some people in that comm that aren't shy about talking about masturbation in the least. I have never entered a comment there, but there are quite a few who do.

Notice my icon. Those lips and that mouth are one of the wonders of the world if you ask me. LOL

I'm glad that was helpful to you. I don't know how many people responded to your poll, but you probably noticed the comm has a questionnaire for people to fill out about their masturbation habits and age they started masturbating. You may have been able to get some feedback just from reading those.

It is a very illuminating comm that I stumbled on a few weeks ago. Like I said, I haven't ever commented there, but it is interesting thinking about doing so in the future. Maybe when I am blotto drunk for courage, or just like *drunk dialing the phone*. LOL

Well, that's the thing isn't it? It's hard for us, and one of the questions we're analyzing (and we already assume we know the answer, see if you can figure out what it is) is whether women are embarrassed about masturbation because of cultural pepetuation of stereotypes or because there actually is some inherent desire not to want to be vocal about it. Sometimes I wonder if it's something that neither sex really would talk about, like in the EEA, because it is essentially a maintenance issue like going to the bathroom.

I do it almost every day. I don't talk about it much, who am I gonna tell? One of my favorite places is in the shower, with toys. It is a great place if you can maintain your balance, because you have soap and water at hand and can clean up after yourself.

I would love to fill out their questionnaire, but am more concerned about someone *I have no idea here, but someone* finding out exactly how often I do, and then they had a lot more detailed questions than you had on yours. A lot.

Funny thing though is I joined their comm a few weeks ago so get something in my inbox when someone posts. I think I can tell who is telling the truth and who is lying. There are some people on there that just make up a bunch of stuff and post it.

There are a few women on there who seem genuinely into masturbation and are very erotic, their answers are quite stimulating.

About a week or two ago, a woman posted on a Sunday afternoon. I was online so probably saw it right away. I immediately looked at her profile. When she posted she had 2 friends. Within 3 days at least 20 people had added her.

I thought it was amazing, but she could write the hell out of that questionnaire. I was a little jealous about her candidness, but not to the point I would actually break radio silence and post my own. LOL
