I can't read PWP anymore. I just can't. I mean, I could never really write it, but for some horrifying reason if I start off on a story that's PWP or even established relationship, I'm riding the back button pretty hard. Give me more long plotty fics! I want it.

BUT YOU'RE DIFFERENT! And I always like how you characterize Sam! There are a lot of fics by authors I love that I feel are totally obvious about their DEAN-LOVE with the kind of crazy actions they make Sam do or say or even when they describe how he looks.

I feel your pain. I seem to be completely unable to WRITE PWP anymore - and I was never very good at it, to be honest, because plot would always sneak in their somewhere. So I support your efforts to find long, plotty fics, though I myself haven't been reading much fan fiction lately, so I can't really help.

Want to hear something really weird? For the first time in my life, I CAN NOT WRITE FAN FICTION. Like, I have four original fiction projects going, and I'm about to start a screenplay, ACK, and they're all hard sometimes, blah blah blah, but I'm making progress, for the most part. When I try to write my Sweet Charity fic, however, which is already way overdue? NOTHING. I am scared.

Hahah, I just posted two fics I've been working on for a long time, and now I think the well has run dry. I've been trying on three other fics FOREVER, and it's just not coming.

HOWEVER, I fully support original fiction plans. If you ever need to bounce ideas off of someone (original or fannish variety), I AM HERE!

I'm pretty good. I had a really good idea today. I love my adviser. It's happiness!
