A while ago I asked if you guys wanted pictures of the semi-formal. Well, a bunch got taken and I don't know where they are. But...I don't know, to reassure you that my scarring isn't so bad that I look like...a very badly scarred thing, I have decided to put these up.




This picture you guys might remember because I posted earlier in the summer. This is what I looked like before the accident.


See? I'm not so bad. This picture doesn't really demonstrate the extent of the damage, but you can clealy see how my nose looks. Thankfully that is not going to scar, the line across my cheek will.


I just thought this picture was kind of awesome.

Me and whimsicalwonder, that line that you can see on my cheek is the scar not the line of my cheek, I guess it's good that they're difficult to separate.

So I'm warning you, if you people don't really like blood or stitches (especially in the face) I would NOT scroll down. It's not horrific, but it is a photo of what I looked like the day after I got out of the hospital (so that you can tell that I look MUCH MUCH MUCH better)...






























So yeah, that's me.

Aww, you're still beautiful! I have a scar of similar size on my left cheek from a dog mauling me and I don't even think about it anymore when I look in the mirror. *hugs* I'm glad you are okay!

Yeah, the one on my nose should be gone soon. A DOG MAULING? A DOG MAULING? I knew I was afraid of dogs for a reason. Jesus, what happened?

You know, I still love dogs, I'm just a lot more weary about them, even when the owner insists they're nice and friendly and could never harm a soul. The dog was a friend's rottweiler and very lovable and nice and cuddly (even named Teddy for Teddy Bear). My friend and I were waiting for the dog's owner to come out of his house and my friend started goofing off with the dog and I guess the dog didn't appreciate it so he attacked me. I honestly have no clue what really provoked him and the actual attack was over in a blink of an eye. One minute he was fine and the next he knocked me down and bit me twice (once in the face, once on my arm) and was done. Scary, but I'm glad I wasn't injured more severely.
