Plastic surgeons visit yesterday. Anyway, the Head of Yale Plastic surgery is now my doctor. Yes yes, you can say those McNamara/Troy jokes now. Y'all better laugh, they call scar removal "revisions." I thought that was pretty hilarious, they're going to REVISE my face.

And today they revise my teeth. Or well, take a look and see how they can fix them.

Hon, I just.. I read your entry about the cab but I was headed out the door at the time and wanted to take my time to fashion a response. It's... terrible, tragic, that you and your mom were going to do something as simple and wonderful as visit a museum and this is the outcome.

I try to be a positive person. I really do. And I can't say I believe in God in the way I did when I was young. Without getting too spiritual or philosophical here, because honestly, who wants _that_ (more painful than the stitches!) I just... I feel like things happen for a reason. I have no idea what the reason could be behind this (maybe it's to meet the HOT HOT doctor -waggles eyebrows-), but I hope whatever it is (if it is something!) it reveals itself in the process of all this other revelation and that everything is as painless as possible.

Ah well, life happens, you know? People tell me that at least it was a worthy museum we were trying to get to and not some shit hole.

It really isn't painful at all, it's just my face is fucked up, you know? Also I'm not a very good judge because I have a high tolerance for pain, but eh, it's really not that bad. They stitched me up without anesthetic for one part of my nose, so you know, I COULD STILL BE LIVING THROUGH THAT.
