Power Down, Power Up, Power Out . . . yet nobody ever says Power In, but they do say In Power. Well anyway, we had a power outage today and the security system is so state of the art (note this part is sarcasm) that it wouldn't let us out of the house. I set the alarm off last night by tripping on the stairs. God! I hate this.

to whom it may concern . . .read Howl's Moving Castle, to say that it was different then the movie is perhaps an understatement.

I had a dream about that very situation last night. It was weird... power going out and then getting locked in my house while the alarm is perpetually sounding. It was annoying.

Thank god the alarm wasn't constantly going off in real life, I might have broken a window and jumped out and my room is on the third floor.
