This fic is nice and long to establish characterizations to those, like myself, who aren't familiar with SPN and what a good job it is! Feels epic, even, and I like the way that all the changes that Luke made to the order come across as happening in the background, somehow, throughout the main character's long, long lives. Plus surrogate parenthood idea is great.
