I smell like grass and laundry in the sun (and probably a myriad of unpleasant things like mud and sweat). After all that rain it feels like the weather felt like it had to catch up and dump sunshine on us. We actually had soccer practice today--we ran a mile, and it wasn't so bad. The AP photo shoot finally happened today. Of course my ego took a huge blow while looking at all the amazing things that people came up with. Maybe some day I'll be able to do that *shrugs*. Ms. Messinger is really sucking up to me though. Kind of scary. She used to want to kill me.

to whom it may concern . . .I couldn't be at the meeting for Young Dems today and my boys said there was no point in going if I wasn't there. Of course they were being ridiculous but how's that for ego stroking?
