What did you want to be when you were little? When I was very little, I had a friend, Emily, who wanted to be a writer, so I said I'd illustrate her books for her, because we couldn't imagine books without pictures in them. Funny how today I've taken her dream and made it mine!

Date: 2008-08-02 08:34 pm (UTC)I wanted to be a cardinal. As in, Cardinal Richeleu. I had a slight obsession with the Three Musketeers when I was wee, what can I say. I'm not sure what upset me more, finding out that girls can't be cardinals, or the fact that cardinals pretty much don't become prime ministers wielding close to absolute power anymore.
